The Boy is huge. Believe it or not, he is in six month clothing… and filling it out well…HE IS SIX WEEKS OLD!
The Girl will be two in April and is sassier than ever… her newest thing… wearing mom’s make-up when she is not looking
Last night, I had my first “real alone time” with both kids. My wife went on a little shopping trip, and then to a movie… leaving me with little girl, and the 4 week old boy for like 6 hours. The first few hours were pretty hectic… but then I got to feed the boy for the first time. He has only been boob fed until now. We have about 60-80 bags (our freezer is full of boob juice) ready for the eating. As soon as it was time to feed the boy, I thawed out some milk and gave him his first bottle. He drank it all up… 9 oz of it! Then he quickly filled up a bunch of diapers before falling asleep.
With Wyatt sleeping, I was free to concentrate on getting the girl bathed and tucked in to bed. The night went really well. Usually the boy will want demand some food every two to three hours. But I think that this time he got really full. He slept from 8-1:30am. Then mom came home and hooked him up when he got up.
I have a chance at surviving two kids after all.
… that’s who Marley would say that she visited today.
One of the best things that a new dad can do for his kids is let them get to know their family… all of them, or at least as much as possible.
Today we went for a little visit to visit my Great Grandpa’s, that would be our daughter’s Great Great Grandpa. Then we met up with the rest of the family for a little get togeather over at my parents house… they are all in town for a baby shower that the wife is having this weekend. Anyway, just thought it was cool that there were five gernertions of us all one time. There are not alot of people that can experience that.
