Home Alone
Last night, I had my first "real alone time" with both kids.  My wife went on a little shopping trip, and then to a movie... leaving me with little girl, and the 4 week old boy for like 6 hours.  The first few hours were pretty hectic... but then I got to feed the boy for the first time.  He has only been boob fed until now.  We have about 60-80 bags (our freezer is full of boob juice) ready f...
No F&*%kin Zipper Pajamas…Any Where?
This is something that really bothers me for some stupid reason.  Why is it nearly impossible to find newborn and infant pajamas with zippers.  What is the deal?  Zippers are way easier, faster, and look better.  So why would they do this to us.  I was at Kohl's today, and the Carters rep, just happened to be there.   The conversion went like this... Carter's Lady:  Can I help you find som...

So we are in this crazy princess phase right now.  At first it was just Snow White, and I don’t even know how that one started.  I have tried so hard to give this little girl cars and trucks, sports stuff, dinosaurs… it’s just not happening.  The girliness runs deep in this one.

Now were on all princess all the time.  I hope that this princess thing last for  a while because, at this point, we’re pretty invested.  We have princess sheets, chairs, dishes, shoes, dresses, books and dolls.  And for the DVDs… Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast… and a bunch more Disney movies.  She only like movies with princess singing in them.

Alice in Wonderland is in the mail… I look for ward to the change?

Return Your Baby Einstein DVD’s for Books… or Cash, or Don’t

Posted By: newdadscliffnotes.com on October 25, 2009 in TV and Movies - Comments: No Comments »

images-1So there is this company that got Disney to admit that their so called educational videos for infants are not educational at all… now, you can send in your DVDs for books or music… or even get a FULL refund.  Check it out on the links below.

I on the other hand thought that these videos helped a little.  Not that I thought that I was persuaded or tricked by anyone to get the DVDs, but my baby seemed to enjoy the shows.  I try to limit the amount of TV that my kid watches… but the shows are so entertaining for them… so sue me.  The smart doctor authority types say that kids under 2 years old should not ever watch TV.  Sounds good to me… good luck… I have four TVs in my house.

If you want your refund here are the links to get it.
