New Dads Cliff Notes » Feeding Stuff http://newdadscliffnotes.com Notes from a Stay at Home Dad... tips, tricks, stories and fun Thu, 17 Feb 2011 06:57:10 +0000 en hourly 1 http://wordpress.org/?v=3.2.1 Poop Galore!!! http://newdadscliffnotes.com/436/poop-galore/ http://newdadscliffnotes.com/436/poop-galore/#comments Wed, 14 Jul 2010 23:51:53 +0000 newdadscliffnotes.com http://newdadscliffnotes.com/?p=436 We recently made the switch to solid foods.  Well, not really solid… mush.  I am really starting to miss the days of a strict boob milk diet.  Not too many poops and the smell was bearable.  Now, with the addition of formula and baby food, the poo flood gates have opened and I have found myself in a non stop diaper changing haze.  I mean it’s nuts man.  It doesn’t stop.  Back to back to back do do’s.  And to make it worse, I still have yet to get the girl potty trained… but it’s just been so damn nice outside, I don’t want to spend the entire week inside.  But, I guess that’s my fault though.  Sorry mama, looks like we might have to wait until you take your next vacation to tackle the potty training thing.

Just kidding, I got this under control… I hope.

]]> http://newdadscliffnotes.com/436/poop-galore/feed/ 0 Feed Yourself Kid – The Bobalong http://newdadscliffnotes.com/329/feed-yourself-kid-the-bobalong/ http://newdadscliffnotes.com/329/feed-yourself-kid-the-bobalong/#comments Thu, 03 Jun 2010 23:47:04 +0000 newdadscliffnotes.com http://newdadscliffnotes.com/?p=329 So when you get to be a certain age (4mths), and starts becoming a man, one of the first things that you need to do is figure out how your going to get some food.  I know that, after breast feeding 7-10 times a day for the last five months… then seeing my ulgy face, sometimes he doesn’t want to eat.  He seems to do better when I prop him up on a pillow or something and let hem feed himself.  But the problem is that he still cant hold the bottle very well.  Then I remembered this thing that my wife brought home months ago,  its called the Bobalong Baby.  Its pretty big for my kid still… but it still works.  And he seems to really like feeding himself sometimes.
