Home Alone
Last night, I had my first "real alone time" with both kids.  My wife went on a little shopping trip, and then to a movie... leaving me with little girl, and the 4 week old boy for like 6 hours.  The first few hours were pretty hectic... but then I got to feed the boy for the first time.  He has only been boob fed until now.  We have about 60-80 bags (our freezer is full of boob juice) ready f...
No F&*%kin Zipper Pajamas…Any Where?
This is something that really bothers me for some stupid reason.  Why is it nearly impossible to find newborn and infant pajamas with zippers.  What is the deal?  Zippers are way easier, faster, and look better.  So why would they do this to us.  I was at Kohl's today, and the Carters rep, just happened to be there.   The conversion went like this... Carter's Lady:  Can I help you find som...

About Us

IMG_7424We’re just the normal average family… but the traditional roles have been flipped.  My wife is amazing, the best person I have ever met, and has a great job that she loves.  As of now, we have a little girl born in April of 2008, and boy on the way… due in January 2010.  I am a full time Stay At Home Dad.  I cook, I clean, I shop, I’m a taxi, I do housework.  The only thing I don’t do… is bring home any dough.

It’s really a strange life, being a stay at home dad, but I would have to say that I am one of the luckiest guys in the world.  Being able to stay at home with the kids, and support and take care of the family like this is something that most men will never be able to experience.  Staying at home is no easy job.  I would really have to say that it is the most demanding job that anyone could ever have.  There is no time off, no slacking, no calling in sick, no being late, not even any breaks.

But, if we are lucky, we might get a few hours during the day, while the kid is napping, to breath.

I do love writing and discussing all this family and parenting stuff, so if you have a site/blog that you want me to review  let me know.   Also if you have a exciting product or service that needs a a review, I can do that too.  I am always looking for some cool stuff to put on the blog

-Thanks

Josh
